What all kidney surgeries can be done via laparoscopy?

With the advent of end-urology, most urological procedures are conducted via the urinary route obviating the need of taking any incisions. However a few surgeries require traditional or the more recent laparoscopic approach.

Some of these surgeries are:

• Laparoscopic kidney removal for grossly damaged kidney due to infection or cancer
• Laparoscopic Kidney or ureteric stone removal
• Laparoscopic Pelvi ureteric reconstruction for congenital abnormalities
